Recipe of the day: Vegetable Salad

Its our christmas potluck super dish. First, buy fruits cheap and whatever you can find at sainsbury (local supermarket) we got pineapples, melons, apples, grapes and strawberries in syrup. Then get a packet of corn flakes and some sunflower seeds, and also salad dressing.... oh mayonese (too bad.. free for us cause will, me and ken decided to "use" a brand new mayonese in my kitchen)

HOw to prepare:

Firstly you need to make some croutons which is our ulti recipe. Cut all the fruits into cube sizes and mixed them in a big pot. Then crushed some corn flakes into the pot and further mixed with all the ingredients. Lastly add some croutons on top of the salad... (why some? becoz its so nice to eat, so keep some for urself). haha!

Wow, a dish made by me william and min ken during xmas potluck 2007. Vege salad,idea originated from the cerebral hemisphere of Ken, I modified it.

Figuring here how to insert a stupid equation in my report using microsoft word marked the end of year 2007. Since its near the end of 2007, suddenly I realised that I had gone pass a lot in this year.

2007 has made a big big change to my life. Although I really didnt like this year alot, it changed me. From the dream of being able to study abroad, I woke up here in a cold winter morning in London. Sometimes there is this strong feeling of me still very close to a naive form 5 student who doesnt know what it really means to take care of himself. Its been so long since I stepped out of school, into having to take a stupid 3 times public transport transit from college back home....

I dont like 2007.... I had to face dilemma, problems and make decisions that I never knew before. I feel the need to get stronger and gain power in order to stand still in this game of prey and predators.

My year begun with 2nd term January Edexcel A levels exams. We had to study very hard because if we do well in the unit 3 and 4 that means, the hardest unit 5 and 6 wouldn't treaten our A's . Well, whatever crap, my unit 5 and 6 was actually better.... Then it came to cny, me and tick siang declared our own 1 week break.. hehehe..

Month of February March and April was some pissing off period, where everything was tedious, chaos and even worst met some bitches and son of theirs. I dont understand why people get so birdie once they got money and power. Bad bad months... Emotionally very unstable.

Just that I didnt have mood to study due the previous incidents that happened, final exams was drawing near. Arghh... didnt see the point to study. Seriously went mamak alot especially with zk and will. Only few days before exams, managed to sit down to study. A levels final was taking so long which was more than a month. The only motivation was to get 4A... I didnt managed to get straight A since UPSR.

At last reached July, yay!! A levels exams over. Forget all the idiotic months and have some fun. I remembered I went to One U to shop with tick siang and zk for our A level's ball outfit. From tops to the feet, we were shopping like aunties.

Then comes the Langkawi trip. It is so fun.. and yea, its our last A46B class trip. That ts say he wouldnt drink, but he drank until hugging toilet bowl as his "one night stand". And we played volley ball on the beach, haha played till everyone got injured by the hard ball. We too went fishing in the dark, till it rain and Ray Mun caught a small catfish. 6 days 5 nights was of course too short for a great time together. Dont forget also, the car we rented, everyone can show off their driving manual skills, or at least prove that they dont have kopi O license. Who used 3rd gear to balance up a slope ? pro sial....

Of course we wont forget brother keng yih, 3 ducklings that was spotted by Ms Lai. Bak Kut Teh time means call ky. I wonder if the old klang road sign is still so "misleading" or not le ?? I wan to eat Bak Kut Teh, although now i got a friend who lives in klang I will still choose to eat bak kut teh in ky's place de.

Of course I know fun time travels faster than the speed of light. I got to decide where should I be studying. Zk asking me to go Russia, ts said Nottingham.After nights of contemplating, I picked a place I never thought of I can go. SOon, we recieve messages asking us to attend fare well. 2-3 months of fun had ended with movies mamaks, pools..... I remembered first was stephanie, then boon, then jeff, then zk then mine.

F4; non college,school but any other activities + mamak and pool gang.

Genius group. Imagine position 1,2,3,4,6,7, in the class also in tis gang. Genius or not le ? Wa I m the only traitor who left 1st after spm.

Still some of my best buddies in secondary school. Includes tsi ngar joanna uwen william and jeen yi, (not affliated with any groups).

I hope I did include faces of everyone who came to my farewell le. Its time for me to fly away! And thats the last day in 2007 in Malaysia.

Oh.. now a 3 months more in London, so fast le .... dec holidays means report time. I got 3 reports each 2000 words, sien. Anyway trip to manchester!!

Hohoho .. christmas time. I still remember our bbq xmas dinner back in 2005 le. And then bbq in Jacqueline's house 2006. Forget bout setting up fire, getting thinner. No more goin to carefour carrying christmas tree, and no more calling up ppl.

Recipe of the Day: Croutons

Ingredients: Some bread that you cant finish and it has actually expired but "still look ok??!" , oil, garlic, salt, pepper.

How to prepare:

1. Toast ur bread until it is slightly brown
2. Cut the bread into cube sizes and place into an owen tray.
3. Sprinkle salt, pepper, fine chopped garlics, alot of oil if u wan it tasty and crispy, evenly onto the bread cubes.
4. Place into the owen and bake 100C to 130C for more than 1 hour. ( This is an energy wasting recipe. But i dont pay for electricity bills haha !! )

This is croutons. Some crispy bread tat is sometimes put on salad or mushroom soup. I love to eat it just like dat. Like some garlic crackers, nice!

Same nice clean kitchen. BUT its not my floor kitchen. My floor kitchen is way cool!! with leftover of cereals pasta for 1 week or more. If u r a microbiologist or a fungus enthusiast feel free to visit my floor @ LG !

Ah wells, hooray for those who finally finished sitting their stpm....

Somehow I remember 4th of Dec is the day we actually finished spm some 2 years ago. That time still, I have to go for a stupid KTJ interview and didnt have a chance to go out celebrate with bunch and bunch of friends.Before interview I have Sabah trip briefing, then rush all the way down to Seremban. The interview was totally crap and i think I didnt know how to talk much, furthermore 1st time talking with angmohs... haha ( which now everyday I can talk to them). Then randomly meet that zk which i think the S class is not tat suang him 1 (last time).. Suddenly coz I neva had a chance to celebrate, we decided to go midvalley to watch harry potter on the following day. What it turn out was, we went midvalley so damn lot of times, ( everytime not becoz the seats sold out or we were too late to watch the show u noe la his pro timing....) at last I get to watch harry potter!.

Some most talkative gang of all time. Headache to all the prefects. And perfect 8gua gang.

Sabah trip! Nice beach!And I caught a fish just below from where we were staying. Haha!

6 Days of trip was so short, 2 years just gone, wah it was just like yesterday.

Then we organised some xmas party... how it turn out?? It was actually a greedy plan of me and zk.( when we were shopping for aaron's birthday party present during form 4 we actually got extra $$ to treat ourselves )*hehehe* Back about the party.. the greedy plan was becoz we will be collecting money from ppl who attend, the more ppl we get the more extra $$ we will get haha ... But end up we got -$$ .... mathematically we got $$ if we only consider the magnitude of it.bla bla... his parents were kind and subsidised us.

Guess?? Ya its fat boy lying on my bed, just before the xmas dinner 2005. Hmm..tat time not quite noe who r u yet.

Things change so much then, I went to HELP, A levels, then without even realising I am now typing this blog in London.

Miss every1 and things back in Malaysia. You guys will always stay in my sweetest memories and thanks for great friendship that accompanied me in my secondary school life. Well now its time for u all to leave smkb also. Enjoy and we will hope one day we will gang up and meet each other again.
