2nd year of my Chinese New Year being abroad. So I am quite used to not getting angpows, and not getting to feast. On a Saturday before new year eve, we decided to celebrate. Because there wouldnt be any holidays and time to have it on the real day.
Went to china town to get stuff for our mini dinner in the night.
Since its chinese new year, so must feast right? Ok had 1st time dim sum in London, no no dont consider the price, cause its priceless ha ha ha. And surprisingly they serve bubble tea, you know those colourful ones you can find it in pasar malam.
Just that I was thinking of not getting an angpow this year.. What a surprise!! A very kind singaporean in my class, she actually put chocs into angpow packets and gave to ppl in the class on the 1st day of cny. So we still can mood up abit.
Chinese New Year, red red red spring festival, suppose to welcome the coming spring. So spring is drawing near indeed.? Well, it is though. The following few days, London became warmer, like 6-7 degrees celcius. I was so hot in the night that I woke up, feeling so itchy, kick off my duvet, and opened my window wide open. My friend even had nose bleed, saying that he is just too hot !
Until the point, one night I need to implement some physics, forced convection!! Open the window, outside air didnt came in, so I used a fan to forced it into my room.
London weather was so unpredictable. Few days after that, it snow. Crazy amount of snow, and so rare that it snowed that much until everything in London got into a mess.
What to do? Snowball fight of course.
Yesterday night went outside the road, its all white covered with snow.
To show how thick the snow went....
The next day, 1st hour reach college, omg class was cancel due to poor London transport, everything is quite chaotic. The next thing, every1 rushed out to the area and started snowball fight. I realised how it feels like to play with snow without gloves, painful ....
Hmm... snowmans, and yea they are everywhere, some with different designs, some with obscene figures....
